Renovations are fun and scary at the same time, but our excellent designer, Maryam, helped us shed our trepidation faster than we ever thought possible. She asked us many questions to discover my partner’s and my tastes, and she showed us different style examples to really get into our heads and think like us (as well as get us to negotiate our different visions with each other) before she made any suggestions for our space. She was so creative, but also organized, professional and thorough - we really lucked out in finding such an expert for both our first renovation and our first design experience. We continue to use her as a sounding board for DIY ideas and upcoming projects. Any time our friends compliment our place we tell them who to praise, and it won’t be long before we hire Maryam again!”
